Though MAC Brush Cleanser is perfect for spot cleaning, I still recommend deep cleaning (with MAC Brush Cleanser itself) every fortnight atleast. After doing a lot of research online and trying it myself, the best way it can be used for spot cleaning is by mixing Brush Cleanser & Water in 1:1 ratio in a spray bottle. The cleanser is of water consistency and the cap provided is not practical to use and you end up wasting lot of product while using. Mac Brush Cleanser comes in a stout looking plastic bottle with a “press to open” cap. Considering how expensive good quality makeup brushes are, it is wise to invest in a good brush cleanser, rather than depending on Baby Shampoo/mild face washes. It not only cleans but also disinfects and keeps the condition of brush fibres intact for longer time. It is perfect if you want to spotlessly clean your brushes as well as deep clean them.
